To Parents & Guardians of Dirigo Elementary School Students: Dear DES Parents & Guardians, Tomorrow, Wednesday, September 16 from 3-6 PM you can pick up your child's electronic device at the school. This will be a drive up event. Please have the form that was sent home on Monday filled out and signed. Please use the outer loop (the one closest to the school) when coming to retrieve your child's device. We recommend that you use a school issued device because some of the programs are preloaded on them and we can push programs out to them better than we can with private devices. Good Evening! RSU 56 would like to remind you that tomorrow, September 8th is our first day of school. Don't forget to complete the daily COVID screening tool for all students and staff each morning before coming into the district or riding the busses. Summer School at Dirigo Elementary School is cancelled today due to a power outage in the building.

Maine Special Olympics has recommended all Unified Competitions be postponed for now. Accordingly, Friday's MS Unified Basketball game v. MVMS and next Wednesday's MS Unified Basketball game @ Mountain Valley Middle School will be postponed to a later date.
