Welcome to T.W. Kelly Dirigo Middle School (TWKDMS)

We are located in the beautiful foothills of Western Maine in the town of Dixfield. Named after our former Principal, Mr. Tim W. Kelly, TWKDMS has approximately 180 students in grades 6 through 8. We offer Music, Art, Social Studies, English and Writing, Health, Physical Education, Science, Math, and an Advisory Program that addresses career and educational development. Additional staff members offer Special Education, Gifted and Talented Education, Social Work, and Library Services.

Our students participate in three seasons of athletics, drama, student council, civil rights club, robotics, craft club, and debate team. We enjoy the support of our four exceptional communities (Canton, Carthage, Dixfield, and Peru) and have an active Parent Teacher Organization/Boosters Club as well as many volunteers who contribute meaningfully to the life of the school. We love it here, and I bet if you visited you’d love it too.

This is my seventh year as principal of TWKDMS and I am excited for the years ahead. I wholeheartedly believe in this mighty little district and the students, staff, and school community of T.W. Kelly Dirigo Middle School. Please do not hesitate to call if you have any questions.
