I want to thank you all for your support and patience as I determine the best options for RSU 56 students, families and employees in response to the tragic circumstances in relation to the Lewiston shootings.
I wanted to let you know that I will be making a decision about tomorrow (Friday, Oct. 27) this evening, hopefully by 6:00pm. I have been communicating with other superintendents, Oxford County Sheriffs Department, and other related constituents. My focus is on the safety of all.
I will communicate again this evening so that everyone knows what the plan is for tomorrow.
