Kindergarten Registration
If you have a child that will be 5 years old before October 15, 2024 and they live in Canton, Carthage, Dixfield or Peru, please call Dirigo Elementary School (207-562-4207) to register them for Kindergarten for next year. IF YOUR CHILD CURRENTLY ATTENDS OUR PRE-K PROGRAM YOU DO NOT NEED TO REGISTER THEM (THEY ARE AUTOMATICALLY ENROLLED). We will mail you an enrollment packet for you to return to the school by May 10, 2024. When you turn in your enrollment packet you should bring the following with you: 1. Copy of their birth certificate. 2. Proof of Residency (something that shows that you live in Canton, Carthage, Dixfield or Peru). 3. Immunization Records. We will schedule a Kindergarten Screening later this spring. If you have any questions give us a call.
Just a reminder that if you have a child turning 4 by October 15, 2024 we still have spots available in our Pre-K program. Call the school and you will be put through to Mrs. Robbins' voicemail. Be prepared to share Your name, Child's name, Date of Birth, Address, and phone number.
