Rep. Ryan Fecteau from Biddeford sponsored a $20 million bill to secure funds to purchase equipment for CTE Schools across the state
This bill was passed under this administration
Each CTE School was given the opportunity to apply for a portion of these funds
Region 9 applied and was approved for $809,284.00 in CTE Bond Equipment Funds
Next Steps:
On November 5th , there will be a referendum vote in the 16 communities we serve seeking approval/support for these funds
If approved, Region 9 will work with the Maine Bond Bank to secure the funds
The State of Maine will make the payment to the Maine Bond Bank on Region 9’s behalf
