Attention Parents & Guardians,
Below are some reminders and information about events happening as we make our way to April Vacation.
1. We have a Cubtastic Assembly scheduled for this Friday (April 5) at 8:20 AM (parents of students receiving a Cubtastic Award should have been invited). If we have a late start on Friday, that assembly will be at 1:15 on Friday. If we do not have school on Friday, that assembly will be at 8:20 on Monday, April 8.
2. Monday, April 8 is an early release day (first run buses at 11:30 am), due to the Solar Eclipse event. We will be talking about the Solar Eclipse and safety at our Cubtastic Assembly. All students will have received a set of solar eclipse glasses (some went home today, some will go home on Monday).
3. Spirit Week - to have a little Solar Eclipse fun before April Vacation we will be doing a Spirit Week next week. Here are the days:
Monday - Colors of the Sun - dress in orange, red or yellow.
Tuesday - Wacky Hair/Tie Dye Day
Wednesday - Hat Day - wear your crazy or favorite hat.
Thursday - Jersey Day - wear your favorite sports team shirt.
Friday - Cougar Spirit Day - wear your Dirigo attire or Blue and White.
3. Grade 5 parents, Spring sports start next week. All paperwork needs to be turned in before your child can participate (permission form, medical form, copy of insurance card, sports physical).
