That’s a wrap on field day! What a day…
We did have a soccer ball hit to the head, and an airborne wayward shoe mid soccer match, but the students barely missed a stride and fought for a Homecoming win for their class!
Shoutout to our Seniors, who encouraged the underclassmen to show their Cougar spirit. A bond was forged between our Sophomores and Seniors, who cheered one another on all afternoon. The whole school joined in on a birthday serenade for one of our Seniors. Juniors and Freshmen both crushed the relay race. Mr. Rowley and Ms. Nolette rocked MCing. Even our SRO got in on the arm wrestling!
So many things happening, and so little time to catch it all. Next up: Tonight’s football game, tomorrow’s soccer games, and tomorrow night’s dance to close out another successful Homecoming week!
Day 5 of Homecoming Week tomorrow and our last Spirit Day! Show your class pride with Class Color Day!

All seniors will be participating in a mandatory "Senior Meeting" with Mrs. Parent, the Guidance Counselor, over the next couple of weeks during Learning Lab periods. Seniors with Open Campus privileges must attend the meeting instead.
During these meetings, Mrs. Parent will cover the following topics with each student:
- Review of credit accounting sheets and graduation requirements
- Current academic schedule to ensure enrollment in necessary classes for graduation
- Discussion of post-secondary education plans
Meeting notes will be recorded using a Google Doc and will be shared with students and their parents/guardians through the email addresses listed in PowerSchool.
Seniors will be receiving passes with their meeting date and time soon!
Day 4 of Homecoming Week coming up tomorrow with Career Day!
Students; please try to make sure the career you're dressing up for is obvious (and of course, appropriate).

We're already at Day 3 of Homecoming Week tomorrow! Pick a holiday and go all out for Holiday Day!

Day 2 of Homecoming Week tomorrow - it's Tropical Day! Students who dress up can earn points for their class!
(Psst, students: Consider asking staff members to dress up and count for your class - if you can convince them, you can get DOUBLE the points for each staff member you get to participate on behalf of your class!)

This year's float theme is 'Holidays'. Look out for 'Halloween' from the Seniors, 'Mardi Gras' from the Juniors, 'St. Patricks' Day' from the Sophomores, and '4th of July' from the Freshmen!

Tomorrow is Day 1 of Homecoming Week! Let the float-building commence!
(Reminder; students who dress up for Spirit Days can earn points for their class!)

We're off to a great start after Freshmen Day!
Tomorrow is the first full day back for everyone and we can't wait to see you all!
(Quick reminder to check your schedules in PowerSchool to stay up to date, as there may have been changes since they were mailed out.)
